ARQS releases a free Trust & Policy Link Inventory that finds every privacy, terms, refund and contact link on a website and shows where they drift

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
VANCOUVER, B.C., October 18, 2026 — ARQS has released Trust & Policy Link Inventory, a free browser tool that checks the links customers look for before they buy or sign up. Users paste a page's HTML or upload up to 100 saved pages, and the tool finds every link to 13 kinds of trust and policy page: privacy, privacy choices and do-not-sell, cookies, terms, refunds and returns, shipping, accessibility, security, contact, about, legal notices, warranties and complaints. Each link is recorded with its label, where it sits on the page (header, navigation, main content or footer) and a normalised destination, with tracking tags, www and trailing slashes stripped so the same page is counted once. Every page gets a score out of 100 and flags missing privacy, terms or contact links, shop pages with no refund or shipping link, forms that collect an email or phone number with no privacy link, links that go nowhere, http:// addresses and new-tab links without rel=noopener. Across the site it shows coverage by page, every label variant, categories split across several addresses, labels that point to different places and policy links hosted on another domain. Because a browser can't fetch other sites, the tool writes a small link-check script users run themselves to see each destination's status code. A fictional three-page shop is loaded as a sample. Projects save in the browser and export as a Markdown report, links, destinations and coverage CSVs with spreadsheet formulas neutralised, the link-check script and JSON. It is a technical inventory only, not legal advice, and never judges whether a policy is sufficient or compliant. Businesses that want ARQS to inventory up to 100 public pages can request the done-for-you Trust & Policy Link Inventory.
