Russian missiles and drones hit Ukrainian cities and transport links overnight into Tuesday, killing at least four people in a residential building in Kharkiv, France 24 reports.

For the first time since U.S. President Donald Trump announced an energy ceasefire at the weekend, no energy facilities were reported hit. Russia has not confirmed such a deal, and it struck six Ukrainian energy sites on Monday.

Ukraine's air force said 88 of 108 drones were shot down. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine received no early warning from partners about ballistic missiles that hit Kyiv, AP reports.
