FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
VANCOUVER, B.C., October 21, 2026 — ARQS has released Front Desk Playbook, a free browser tool that helps a service business decide what its front desk says on every call. The owner enters the opening hours for each day, the services callers ask about with their length and the price as staff would say it, the questions callers ask most with short spoken answers, and the situations where a call must go to a person, such as an upset customer, an insurer or a medical emergency. The Playbook turns that into a ready call script: a greeting in the tone the owner picks, intake questions, booking lines for each service, every FAQ answer, the exact words for each handoff and an after-hours message. A week map shows the staffed hours against the rest of the week, so a clinic open 54 hours sees that callers reach nobody for about two thirds of the week, and the after-hours choice sets whether those callers are offered online booking, a callback or the on-call contact. Fourteen readiness checks flag what is missing, including answers too long to say out loud, transfers with nobody named to receive them, a booking option without a booking link, and any line that asks a caller for a card number or password. The owner can copy or download the script, export the FAQs as a spreadsheet file, save the whole playbook as a file and open it again, and download an intake pack with the business details, hours, services, FAQs and handoff rules that the ARQS AI Front Desk setup asks for. The tool answers no calls, connects to no phone system, makes no AI call and sends nothing; everything stays in the browser. It opens with a labelled fictional sample, a physiotherapy and massage clinic in Kelowna. Front Desk Playbook is free and has no checkout of its own; businesses that want calls answered around the clock can read about the paid ARQS AI Front Desk service on its own page.
