FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

VANCOUVER, B.C., October 18, 2026 — ARQS has released Form Friction Snapshot, a free browser tool that reviews the forms on a website for the small problems that make people give up. Users paste a page's HTML or upload up to 50 saved pages, and each form gets an inventory of its visible fields, which are required, how each one is labelled and whether browsers can fill it automatically. More than 20 checks flag fields with no label or only placeholder text, email and phone fields that won't open the right keyboard on a phone, postal codes typed as numbers that block Canadian and UK codes, missing or disabled autocomplete, password length limits that stop password managers, repeat-password boxes, phone numbers and names split across several boxes, long drop-down lists, sensitive questions such as birth date, gender or income, pre-ticked marketing consent boxes, CAPTCHAs, vague Submit buttons and personal-data forms with no privacy link. Every form gets a friction score out of 100, a plain grade and a rough time to complete, and each finding says what to change. A fictional booking form is loaded before and after a friction pass to show the difference. Projects save in the browser and export as a Markdown report, findings and field CSVs with spreadsheet formulas neutralised, and JSON. The tool reads markup only: it never submits a form and doesn't fetch or crawl any site. Businesses that want ARQS to review their public forms can request the done-for-you Form Friction Snapshot.
