FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

VANCOUVER, B.C., October 18, 2026 — ARQS has released Decision Matrix, a free browser tool for owners, managers and teams choosing between vendors, locations, software tools or business ideas. Users list up to 20 options and 24 criteria, score each option from 1 to 10, and mark criteria where lower is better, such as cost, risk or effort, which are inverted automatically. Weights can be set roughly and are rescaled to 100 per cent. Any criterion can carry a must-have, a minimum score or, for costs, a maximum, and options that miss one are listed separately rather than winning on everything else. Missing scores, out-of-range numbers and duplicate options are flagged and kept out of the ranking until fixed. The result shows each option's total with a colour-coded breakdown of where its points came from, the lead over second place and a plain-language verdict. Two checks show how solid the answer is: weight sensitivity reports how many points each weight would have to move before a different option leads, and a repeatable robustness test re-scores the matrix 500 times with every weight varied by up to 25 per cent and reports how often each option still wins. Templates cover choosing a software vendor, picking a location and scoring business ideas with the 12-dimension model ARQS uses for its own venture directory. The matrix exports as a Markdown decision record, a CSV with spreadsheet formulas neutralised, and JSON. Everything runs in the browser and nothing is looked up or uploaded.
