ARQS Press opens a Publishing Studio that takes a book from outline to a print-ready manuscript in the browser

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
VANCOUVER, B.C., October 21, 2026 — ARQS Press has opened Publishing Studio, a browser tool that helps authors plan and assemble a book. Book setup fixes the title, author credit, imprint, genre, audience, word goal, trim size and paper. The outline holds parts and chapters with a synopsis, word target and status from planned to edited, and a writing desk counts words as each chapter is drafted. Front and back matter, from half title, title page, copyright page, dedication and contents to acknowledgments and about the authors, are switched on or off and written in place, with the contents page built automatically. The cover brief turns trim, paper and estimated page count into a spine width and a full-wrap size with bleed, next to a live cover preview in navy, black or ivory and a brief for the designer covering mood, palette, imagery, typography, tagline and back-cover blurb. Ten press-ready checks score the book before export to print-ready HTML that saves as a PDF at trim size, a Markdown manuscript, a cover brief, a formula-safe outline CSV and a project file. A fictional sample, The Okanagan Ledger by E.H. Ackerman and J.D. Ackerman, is loaded so every step works on first visit. The studio is free to try with no account and keeps manuscripts in the browser. ARQS Press Publishing Studio Pro, a one-time 99 USD licence with ARQS Press interior and cover-brief templates and a launch checklist, is delivered within 72 hours of purchase.
