ARQS releases CloudGuard, a free private tool that finds cloud cost spikes and savings in a billing export
ARQS has released CloudGuard, a free browser tool that helps founders and finance teams understand their cloud bills.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
VANCOUVER, B.C., October 17, 2026 — ARQS has released CloudGuard, a free browser tool that helps founders and finance teams understand their cloud bills. Users load a billing export from Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure, or any CSV file with a date, a service and a cost column, and CloudGuard detects the columns automatically. It shows total and month-to-date spend, forecasts the month-end bill from the recent daily run rate and compares it with a budget the user sets. Each service is checked day by day against its own recent normal using a robust median test, so one-off spikes stand out, and a movers table compares the last seven days with the seven before. A savings list turns the evidence into actions, covering commitment discounts for steady compute and database spend, storage growth, data transfer, non-production resources left running at weekends and the services that drive most of the bill, each with a conservative estimate and the assumptions behind it. Reports export as CSV or print to PDF. The file is read only in the user's browser; CloudGuard needs no account, cloud credentials or purchase.
