Sources and how to read the results

Candidate votes, affiliations and incumbent markers come from Elections Canada’s official Table 12; turnout, valid votes and rejected ballots come from Table 11. National and province totals below are calculated from that same candidate table so the figures use one consistent snapshot. The asterisk marker for incumbents is defined by Elections Canada. “Not an incumbent” does not mean a person has never held another elected office.

Winner minus runner-up votes; percentage-point margin uses all valid riding votes. Tight finish: under 5 points; decisive win: at least 20 points. These are editorial descriptions, not Elections Canada classifications. “Landslide” has no official threshold here; we use exact margins and “decisive win” instead. Candidate percentages can differ slightly from sums because of rounding.

Each city edition covers its main federal ridings, which can cross municipal boundaries. Riding-wide results are not city-only vote totals. Use Elections Canada’s address lookup to find your own riding. Later by-elections, party changes and court decisions are outside these April 2025 results.
