San Francisco's Lyra will put more than 50 engineers inside its service providers
Evergreen's Lyra Technology Group said 16 engineers are already at eight providers that serve more than 15,000 businesses.

Lyra Technology Group, an Evergreen company, said from San Francisco on November 4 that it is starting a forward-deployed engineer program. It plans to place more than 50 engineers inside its managed service providers by the end of 2027, so those providers can help small and mid-sized customers automate work. Sixteen engineers are already embedded at eight providers. Those providers serve more than 15,000 businesses.
Each engineer works full time at one provider, helping that company build a managed AI practice and sitting with customers on everyday operations. Chief executive Dakota Ferguson said the hard part of AI is the last mile, not the technology itself.
