San Francisco's Doppel buys PropRise and hires its founders
Jean-Michael Diei and Matthew Krager, who started the Y Combinator company in 2023 after Stripe, join Doppel's engineering team.

Doppel, a San Francisco company that sells software against social-engineering attacks, said on November 4 that it has acquired PropRise, a Y Combinator-backed company. PropRise co-founders Jean-Michael Diei and Matthew Krager will join Doppel's engineering organization.
Diei and Krager, former Stripe employees, founded PropRise in 2023 to build software for commercial real estate. Doppel said they grew it to a high six-figure annual revenue run rate, selling to institutional investors and real estate investment trusts. Chief technology officer Rahul Madduluri said the pair bring a founder approach to Doppel's engineering team.
