For the first time since 2003, founders who are not in school can enter the 2027 competition.

Microsoft's Imagine Cup, a student competition since 2003, will for the first time include early-stage startups whose founders are not in school, GeekWire reported Monday. The winner gets $250,000 in cash and $1 million in cloud credits. Companies founded in the past two years can enter the 2027 competition if they have not raised a Series C, whether or not the founders are students.
