Rivian's R2 is already its best-selling vehicle
The company raised the floor of its 2026 delivery forecast to 67,000, from a range that started at 65,000.
Rivian's R2 SUV was its best-selling vehicle in the third quarter, the company said Thursday, TechCrunch reported. Rivian did not give an R2 unit count. It raised the bottom of its 2026 delivery guidance to 67,000 vehicles, from a previous range of 65,000 to 70,000. It is the second time this year Rivian has raised the forecast. The company had struggled to ship more than 50,000 vehicles a year for three years.
Rivian launched the R2 in June and is betting on a fast production ramp of the lower-priced SUV.
