Former GitHub CEO, based in Bellevue, launches a code host built for AI agents
Entire's new Git forge replaces the pull request with agent scores, two days before GitHub Universe in San Francisco.

Entire, a startup led by former GitHub chief executive Thomas Dohmke, on Monday unveiled a Git forge for hosting code, reviewing changes and running builds, designed for teams whose AI agents write code faster than people can review it, GeekWire reported. Dohmke, who is based in Bellevue, Washington, left GitHub last year after nearly four years as CEO. Entire says it has 50 employees and is fully remote.
The news comes two days before GitHub's annual Universe conference in San Francisco. Microsoft acquired GitHub for $7.5 billion in 2018 and has since folded it into its CoreAI division. Entire's main change is Trails, which replaces the pull request. Dohmke wrote that the pull request has become an audit log that only the agent reads. Developers instead see scores from AI agents evaluating each change, and teams can still require a person's sign-off or passing tests before code is merged.
GitHub has had several significant outages in recent months, including one in August that lasted nearly eight hours, and is moving from its own data centers to Microsoft Azure to add capacity. GitHub said developers and agents made 7.38 billion commits on the platform in September alone.
