Burnaby's Anodyne Chemistries and Richmond's Voxelis AI are among the Canadian companies named to Cleantech Group's 2026 Cleantech 50 to Watch, joining fellow B.C. companies FireSwarm Solutions and CRWN.AI, Techcouver reported on Wednesday.

Canada claimed 11 of the 50 spots, second only to the United States, on the annual list of early-stage companies.

Anodyne's bioelectric platform converts carbon dioxide, water and renewable electricity into chemical feedstocks. Voxelis AI delivers thermal imagery and AI-generated insights to wildfire crews and incident commanders.

Squamish-based FireSwarm Solutions is developing autonomous coordination technology for aerial wildfire suppression, according to the report.
