Nvidia said on Tuesday it is making its full Run:ai platform available as open-source software, giving customers and partners access to its AI workload and GPU orchestration tools, according to an Nvidia technical blog post.

Run:ai helps organizations run AI workloads on Kubernetes at scale by dynamically allocating GPU resources across data processing, training and inference.

The release includes the complete platform and four components that can be adopted independently, including the KAI Scheduler and a GPU Fractioning Operator.

Nvidia said the move expands its DSX AI Factory platform and lets partners and AI clouds improve GPU utilization on shared infrastructure.
