Shared e-bike and e-scooter company Lime is offering voters in eight B.C. cities two free rides of up to 15 minutes each between Oct. 16 and Oct. 24 to travel to and from voting locations, Daily Hive reported on Tuesday.

The offer is available in Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Moody, Victoria and Kelowna with the code VOTECAN26.

The promotion spans municipal election day on Saturday, Oct. 17, and the provincial election on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Lime is partnering for a second year with Apathy is Boring, a non-partisan, youth-led charity that encourages young Canadians to vote.
