Kelowna's Waterplay wins two global water park industry awards
The aquatic play company was recognized for splash pads at two parks in Vietnam.
Kelowna aquatic play company Waterplay won two Leading Edge Awards at the World Waterpark Association's annual symposium in Las Vegas, Castanet reported on Sunday.
The awards recognized the company's splash pads at Sun World Vũng Tàu and Aquatopia Water Park in Vietnam.
"To be recognized with two Leading Edge Awards is incredibly meaningful, particularly as we continue to see the impact of our work across Vietnam," Waterplay president Jill White said.
Sun World Vũng Tàu features 20 major attractions and nearly 100 water slide lanes, while Aquatopia covers eight hectares, according to the company.
