Salmon Arm chamber's ChamBURGER Month puts 13 local restaurants in the spotlight
Diners are voting for their favourite specialty burgers through Oct. 31.

The Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce is running ChamBURGER Month through Oct. 31 to encourage residents and visitors to explore local restaurants and support businesses, the Kelowna Capital News reported on Saturday.
Thirteen participating restaurants have each added a specially crafted burger to their menus, and diners vote in categories including best tasting and most unique.
"It's about getting people through the doors of our local restaurants, encouraging them to try something new, and having a little fun while supporting our business community," chamber executive director Christine Jontz-Barbour said.
The chamber described the challenge as a celebration of local food that fosters friendly competition and community connection.
