Rivals called the plan a 'to-do list for someone else'; the civic election is Oct. 17.

Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim's ABC Vancouver party announced on Monday a 10-point plan for the first 100 days after the Oct. 17 municipal election, including a "one-stop business desk" to make it easier to do business in the city, the Vancouver Sun reported.

The plan also includes a "good neighbour policy" that would revoke business licences of supportive housing providers that repeatedly fail to meet expectations, and an affordability action plan that would reverse recently introduced paid parking at some community centres and beaches. Rivals attacked its reliance on things outside City Hall's control.

Separately, ABC's Keep Building Vancouver housing platform proposes reducing or deferring city fees for developers with approved projects who start building within a set period, and leasing city-owned land for roughly 4,200 middle-income rental homes, Business Examiner reported, citing Daily Hive.

"I'll be the first one to admit we didn't get everything right, and we're still learning the ropes," Sim said, asking for a second mandate.
