Langley chamber names 57 finalists for its 30th Business Excellence Awards
More than 100 nominations were submitted across nine categories; winners will be named in October.

The Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce has announced 57 finalists in nine categories for its annual Business Excellence Awards, now in their 30th year, the Aldergrove Star reported.
Chamber CEO Cory Redekop said the chamber received more than 100 nominations. He said the anniversary is a chance to recognise this year's finalists and three decades of business leadership in the community, and that being a finalist is an achievement in itself.
The finalists reflect the range of businesses and leaders contributing to Langley's economy, Redekop said. Winners will be announced at a celebration in October.
Langley's business base spans manufacturing, agriculture, logistics and a growing number of service and technology firms, many of them small companies that rely on word of mouth and local reputation to grow.
