ARQS has released Handoff Studio as a working local application for assembling the material that accompanies a client or developer delivery. It brings tasks, supporting evidence, reports and project files into a pack the user can export. The application opens through its own URL inside Design Workbench, where the same named project can also contain source-review findings and compiled token work.

A delivery is easier to assess when a recipient can connect a task to the evidence and files that support it. Handoff Studio provides that structure. It does not approve a client's project or replace the recipient's review; it helps the person doing the work present a clear, portable record of what is being delivered.

Give the recipient something to inspect

Tasks and evidence are retained with the project. A user can record the checks relevant to the assignment and export reports or an acceptance CSV for the receiving team. Those formats make the information usable outside the application. A colleague can inspect the pack even if they do not keep the same browser workspace open.

Hashes are part of the file-oriented delivery material. They help identify the represented files and compare them with a retained copy; they do not establish ownership, authenticity of a claim or contractual acceptance. The useful workflow is to keep the exported pack with the actual delivery and let the recipient review both together.

Connect the earlier work to the final pack

DesignGuard can transfer source-review findings into the handoff. TokenBridge can transfer compiled-style acceptance criteria. These connections mean the pack can retain the context for a task rather than require the user to reconstruct a review from memory. The reviewer still chooses which items matter to the actual project.

The complete Workbench workspace ZIP contains reports, styles, source, an acceptance CSV and portable project JSON. The user's own inputs determine the substance of the delivery. Before sending a client pack, the user should inspect its files and make sure the task descriptions correspond to the source and styles included.

Keep the working copy portable

Named projects persist locally in IndexedDB, with create, rename, switch, import and delete operations available in the workspace. A project can be exported as JSON and reopened later. This is especially useful when two assignments share a browser but need separate records. The selected new or imported project is retained after a reload in the current Workbench release.

Client project data stay on the device, and an application account is not required. A project export remains the practical backup before clearing browser data or moving to another computer. The Workbench desktop catalog offers the individual $99 USD edition and the separate bundle with source review and token compilation. The working Handoff Studio link is available for inspecting that workflow first.

Price, access and delivery

The hosted ARQS Handoff Studio can be opened immediately. The separately licensed desktop edition is listed at $99 USD as a one-time digital purchase on its published product page. Buyers can inspect the functioning browser application before ordering the files.

ARQS states its delivery promise before purchase: software files will be emailed within 72 elapsed hours of successful payment, or the buyer will receive a full refund if ARQS cannot deliver within that window. These orders are fulfilled by the owner; checkout does not supply an automatic instant attachment. License, delivery and refund enquiries go to sales@arqs.ca.
