Know the minute
to walk out the door.

Enter a flight, sailing, train or event time. Exit Pass works backward through boarding, the walk, security, the bag-drop cutoff and the lines to the time you need to leave and the time to start getting ready, and tells you which rule sets it. Free, and nothing leaves this browser.

Backward from departure

Every minute accounted for.

Exit Pass starts at departure and subtracts each step: boarding, time at the gate, the walk, security, the bag-drop or check-in cutoff and the line before it. It compares that with your arrival guideline, keeps the earlier of the two, then subtracts parking, travel, your buffer and the time you need to get ready. Every minute is yours to edit, because airlines, terminals, ferries and venues all differ.

Practice on fiction

Sample: an early domestic flight.

A fictional 6:15 AM flight next Thursday, with one checked bag and a 35-minute drive, is loaded so every step works on your first visit. Change it on the Trip tab, or add up to twelve trips of your own.

The rule that decides

See whether the arrival guideline, the bag-drop cutoff or the steps themselves set your time, and how much slack the guideline adds.

Warnings that matter

Weekday rush hour, leaving the night before, a 4 AM alarm, a thin buffer or a time that has already passed.

What this is, and isn't. A free planning aid that stays in your browser. It doesn't read live flight status, security wait times or traffic, and its starting minutes are estimates; your airline, operator or venue sets the real cutoffs.
