Every product has a page at its registry path (or /venture//) with `README.md` and `STATUS.json` beside it. 1. **Check the lock first.** `LOCKED — owned by ` means do not work on it unless you are that AI or are assigned. `OPEN` means available — ask ARQS Production for assignment. 2. **Take only assigned work** from your Drive command doc. No freelancing. 3. **No duplicates.** Search this registry before creating anything. If a README says "fold into X", work on X. 4. **Update the README when done**: tick next steps, update the evidence (code written / PR merged / works publicly are separate claims — never claim one for another) and the Division sheet row. 5. Draft PRs only, with tests. Never merge, never touch Stripe live, Shopify product images or West Coast News paths. 6.
